Are you living your life to the fullest?
There’s a popular quote by Rory Cochrane that says “I do not regret the things I’ve done, but those I did not do.”
Looking back on my life, I can confidently say that I agree with this quote. While I’ve had “crazy” or “unfortunate” things happen along the way, I believe that everything happens for a reason. I don’t regret the decisions that I made because I know that it’s been the compilation of my experiences that have landed me where I am today!
Speaking to the other half of the quote, I do regret not doing some of the things I really wanted to do (like studying abroad for a semester when I was in university).
The other day, I came across an article on Finerminds.com, that talked about the most common regrets people have as they near the end of their life span.
I knew I wanted to share this with the Juicy Geniuses community because it’s a great reminder to make the most of each day!
Here are the 5 most commons regrets that are shared in this article….
1) “I wished I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”
2) “I wish I did not work so hard.”
3) “I wish I had the courage to express my feelings.”
4) “I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.”
5) “I wish I had let myself be happier.”
